Description:
This position will be supported from a home office; location can be anywhere in the UK.

Due to business growth, we are recruiting an Account Manager to join our team on a full time permanent basis to develop and contribute to the sale of software and services in the UK.
Job description:
- Prospect and develop a portfolio of customers in various industries (Aeronautics, automotive, energy, … )
- Understand our customers’ needs and work closely with the pre-sales and service teams to provide appropriate solutions.
- Identify and evaluate business opportunities to expand the company’s customer base
- Develop creative sales approaches for academic customers, research centers and start-ups.
- Contribute to the UK strategy by working closely with the existing sales team.
- Demonstrate the added value of Maya HTT and Siemens through presentations, quotations and proposals tailored to customer needs.
- Negotiate sales contracts with customers and partners
- Work closely with marketing, technical support and product development teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Represent the company at trade shows and events
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a business, technical or an engineering discipline.
- 2+ years of software sales experience.
- Knowledge of the UK Automotive, Aerospace, Heavy Industry, Engineering Services sector, a plus.
- Knowledge of the engineering software space, a plus.
- Knowledge of software from the following vendors is an asset: Siemens, Ansys, Altair, Dassault Systèmes.
- Experience working with Salesforce or similar Sales CRM is a plus.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Fluent in English.
- Travel: up to 50%.
