Description:

We are a highly experienced Global Sourcing Specialists in Industrial Supplies. We currently deal with numerous high profile multi nationals delivering a specialist service on their sites. We have built strong relationships with not only our clients but also our suppliers and we work diligently at maintaining those relationships through communication.
We are currently recruiting an Engineering Stores Technician on a client site in Fermoy, Co. Cork. This role is an initial 12-month contract.
The ideal candidate will have worked in an MRO operation in an Engineering Storeroom, ability to understand MRO Parts, where they are sourced, what category of part they are and how they function at a high level and the ability to deal with vendors remotely and work with them to source parts.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous experience in an Inventory position, ideally working within the Pharmaceutical, and/or manufacturing industries would be highly desirable.
  • Systems Knowledge, SAP, Ariba, Maximo

Ability to partner with site team

  • Considerable Organization skills.
  • Knowledge of engineering parts.
  • Ability to react to change.
  • Ability to achieve set goals.
  • Knowledge of applicable regulatory guidelines
  • Database Management.
  • Ability to handle engineering queries from the Engineers.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: €35,000.00-€45,000.00 per year

Responsibilities:

  • Contact OEM and OCM parts supplier for all non-Mikron stock parts and generate Register of Parts identified as Obsolete and those identified as approaching obsolescence.
  • Review of Generated Register of Parts identified as Obsolete and those identified as approaching obsolescence in the Mikron Report received in Q2 2024.
  • Identify all available sourcing options available for all parts on the obsolete parts register.
  • Add obsolescence timeline to all parts on register to inform risk assessment to be completed by others.
  • Engage with OEM and OCM suppliers to identify best equivalent part currently available to replace obsolete parts where available.
  • Provide specification pack for all proposed equivalent parts to allow Sanmina and ADC engineering team to assess modification, if any, required to allow equivalent part to be used on the plant.
  • Provide quotation for best sourcing options for remaining available stock of obsolete parts across supply chain for consideration by ADC for stockpiling.
