About the role
We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic person to join our National Engineering team in Chipping Norton as an Engineering Support Officer to help drive our sales business. The purpose of this diverse and challenging role is to provide engineering support to our Sales teams and external customers regarding product, predominantly within commercial applications.

Reporting to the Engineering Support Supervisor, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Assist internal and external customers with technical queries relating to product application.
• Assist Sales Teams by evaluating product for HVAC application projects.
• Conduct computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analysis and perform Daikin equipment selection using proprietary software
• Investigate application issues on existing product installation to develop and propose appropriate solutions.
• Develop and deliver regular workshops on engineering principles and controls to the Sales Teams.
• Assist with the development and maintenance of product selection software and application tools.
• Provide controls support to Sales and Service Teams as required.

About you

• Mechanical engineering degree or relevant diploma.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a timely manner.
• Previous experience with reading and interpreting technical plans and tender specifications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive approach to learning and personal development.
