Description:
Hanon Systems is a full-line global supplier of automotive thermal and energy management solutions for electrified and conventional vehicles. Hanon Systems Canada Inc. in Belleville, Ontario is seeking a highly-motivated and driven Manufacturing Engineering Technician to join our team.
EXPERIENCE:
Must demonstrate a commitment to work safely and implement all safety measures and procedures
Experience in CNC programming (e.g. tube bending, forming) and robotic programming (e.g. UR, Omron) preferred
Experience in mechatronics and basic machine control troubleshooting is an asset
Demonstrated ability to work with various departments and personnel from Engineering to Production teams
SKILLS:
Proven troubleshooting skills
Basic proficiency with PC software/hardware, MS office, SAP, CAD and measurement software
Ability to work with others to problem solve and maximize efficiencies
Ability to collaborate/lead small cross functional teams on problem solving or continuous improvement projects
Project management skills an asset
Excellent attendance record
Excellent communication skills
EDUCATION:
Post-secondary college or university education in either Engineering or related manufacturing/technical program required

Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot issues and provide technical support to production processes and equipment as required
Support the Manufacturing Engineering Team in the development, implementation and continuous control of various tube manufacturing processes including but not limited to CNC bending and mechanical assembly
Support and/or initiate continuous improvement initiatives
Coordinate and/or participate in root cause investigations
Collaborate with other department team(s) to improve/enhance processes
Other duties as required
