ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Program Engineering Manager, the Hunter Team Lead will collaborate closely with the other Team Leads to provide dynamic leadership and management. Your role will involve guiding a dedicated team through engineering processes and tools, ensuring successful delivery of assigned activities and artefacts. You will have the autonomy to foster the growth and development of your team members, playing a pivotal role in enhancing capability within both the Hunter and broader engineering teams. This position offers a unique opportunity to lead and innovate in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

Join us as an Electrical Engineering Lead at Babcock, where you’ll play a pivotal role in technical investigations, decision-making, and recommendations.

• You’ll oversee team activities, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining high quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Your expertise will be crucial in producing and reviewing technical documentation, securely maintaining records, and presenting findings to both internal and external stakeholders.
• As a key advisor in Electrical Engineering, you’ll contribute to operational capability and provide guidance on multi-domain engineering decisions.
• You’ll ensure compliance with regulations and standards, manage product safety implications, and conduct technical risk assessments.
• lead process improvements, foster professional development within your team, and collaborate effectively across technical teams and the wider organization.
