We are currently seeking candidates to fill an Engineering Technician role. In this critical role, you will install, test and maintain electrical systems and components. Contributing to improvement, and maintenance of equipment, facilities, and systems.

WHAT WILL YOU DO IN THIS ROLE?

• Undertake the routine maintenance and inspection of electrical systems, machinery, and equipment to ensure they are in optimal working condition.
• Collaborate with electricians and others to identify and diagnose electrical issues, helping to develop solutions and carry out necessary repairs.
• Design and troubleshoot drives, controls, and PLC’s
• Follow all preventative maintenance procedures
• Must follow all LOTO procedures
• Process improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and efficiency enhancement in manufacturing processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement changes
• Engineering Analysis: Conduct engineering analysis, root cause analysis and technical reports

WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE?

• Diploma or Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or related field.
• Experience in an electrical engineering or technician role.
• Proficiency with electrical systems, circuits, and tools.
• Familiarity with CAD software and electrical schematics.
• Knowledge of PLC programming and industrial automation systems is a plus.
