What to Expect
We are looking for a Cell Engineering Technician for a cross functional Cell Qualification Engineering team to perform e-chem tests, life performance tests, reliability tests and failure analysis tests to support battery research, development projects and massive production cell qualification. Candidates should have experience with various meters, power supplies, data acquisition systems, basic knowledge of battery chemistry, DC circuits, strong Excel skill and work experience with web apps. Strong communication skill and flexible work hours in different shift and hours are required as well.

What You’ll Do

  • Works in conjunction with test engineers to solve testing problems and execute projects as required
  • Hands-on execution of electrical testing and data collection
  • Performs initial troubleshooting of tester and connections related to test execution failures Recommendation of next steps where issue is not resolved
  • Excellent communication of all issues creating deviations from test or project plans along with possible remedies
  • Collects the information and data required for the solution of technical problems
  • Applies data in solving problems by performing technical computations, measurements, and analysis

What You’ll Bring

  • Strong Excel experience and know how to create excel sheets
  • Experience with electronic tests run on computers- experience running automated tests
  • Troubleshoot down to the component level
  • Use of necessary tools - various meters, power supplies, data acquisition systems
  • DC electrical theory
  • Experienced with automated and hand-held test and measurement equipment is preferred
  • Willing to work flexible schedule such as weekend (Tuesday - Saturday or Sunday - Thursday or both weekends and any 3 days during weekdays)

Expected Compensation
$23.18 - $62.13/hour, depending on level + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
