Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Technician to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for someone who has completed basic electrical training and is eager to gain hands-on experience. The Electrical Technician will provide CAD support for electrical systems under the guidance of experienced technicians and supervisors. This role involves close collaboration with project teams, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and efficient integration in project deliverables.

MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: High school diploma or following a University in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in modeling, preferably with a focus on electrical/electro-mechanical.

Responsibilities:

  1. Modeling and Coordination:
    o Follow instructions to perform CAD support for different arias of a project scope (electricity, telecommunications, gas, etc.).
    o Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders to integrate electrical systems into overall project models.
    o Ensure models are up-to-date and accurately reflect design changes and project requirements.
  2. Standards and Quality Control:
    o Ensure all CAD models comply with industry standards, company guidelines, and project specifications.
    o Perform quality checks and audits on models to maintain accuracy and completeness.
    o Implement and enforce standards and best practices across projects.
  3. Collaboration and Communication:
    o Work closely with engineers, project managers, and other technicians to coordinate electrical works on a project.
    o Facilitate coordination meetings to resolve any clashes or design issues within the models.
    o Communicate effectively with team members to provide updates and address any concerns or questions.
  4. Technical Support and Training:
    o Provide support and raise any concern to the project teams regarding software tools or CAD model clashes.
    o Stay updated on the latest technologies and industry trends to continuously improve processes and tools.
  5. Documentation and Reporting:
    o Maintain thorough documentation of all activities and processes.
    o Present reports on model progress, issues, and resolutions.
