Roughan & O’Donovan (ROD) is seeking to appoint a talented and enthusiastic engineering technician with three to five years’ experience for a permanent position within our expanding civil, structural and environmental engineering consultancy in Otley, 10 miles north of Leeds.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

• A relevant qualification (minimum Level 3 qualification in the National Framework of Qualifications or equivalent) or three years’ relevant experience
• Flexible, motivated and focused
• Good technical knowledge and engineering understanding
• Excellent attention to detail
• Capable of producing quality design outputs
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD, BIM and software interoperability
• Comfortable working in a busy work environment with tight deadlines
• Fluent or highly proficient in spoken and written English

DESIRABLE SKILLS

• Civil and structural detailing skills
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD, CADS RC, Civil 3D, Revit, BIM, Navisworks and software interoperability

ABOUT THE ROLE

As an experienced technician, you will play an integral role in every phase of the design and delivery of our UK and Ireland projects. You will be supported throughout by our teams in the UK and Ireland.
