SCHOOL ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN (TEMPORARY TO PERMANENT)
Location: Solihull
Daily Rate: £120 - £160 per day (depending on experience)
Contract: Temporary to Permanent | Full-time | Immediate Start
Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are recruiting for a motivated and hands-on School Engineering Technician to join a thriving and innovative secondary school. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic educational environment, supporting engineering and design technology lessons. The role will initially be temporary, with the view to becoming a permanent position for the right candidate.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Providing technical support in engineering and workshop-based lessons.
- Setting up and maintaining workshop equipment, including CNC machines and other tools.
- Assisting teachers and students during practical sessions to ensure safe and effective learning.
- Conducting routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment.
- Supporting the preparation of teaching materials and resources.
