Join our evolving combustion team at the Aviation Advanced Technology Center of Excellence as a Working Student/Intern. As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the preparation and evaluation of experiments for our next generation combustion systems for GE Aerospace’s revolutionary technology demonstrators.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proficiency in using engineering tools like CAD and MATLAB/Simulink as well as some programming experience (preferably Python),
  • Previous experience in the preparation and execution of experiments,
  • Theoretical and practical skills in applying numerical procedures like CFD with a solid knowledge in the field of combustion and a basic knowledge in the field of acoustics,
  • A strong academic track record, demonstrating your commitment to excellence,
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective collaboration and information sharing,
  • A proactive attitude that fuels your motivation to overcome challenges and deliver results,
  • Openness and creativity, inspiring innovative thinking and problem-solving,
  • A team-oriented approach, thriving in a complex multi-site network structure,
  • Fluency in English, ensuring seamless communication within our international team.
