JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for high school English/Socials tutors who can go to students’ homes.
We match our tutors and students together carefully. This is a ‘feel good’ job. Students gain confidence and get closer to achieving their academic goals and future careers.

• Assessing student’s needs and developing a plan to help them succeed
• Assisting students with homework, projects, test preparation and assignments.
• Teaching skills to improve academic performance, including study strategies, note-taking skills, and approaches to answering test questions
• Providing students with positive and constructive feedback
• Offering feedback on progress to students’ parents
