Description:
Singapore Raffles Music College (SRMC) is looking for an English Lecturer/Assistant Academic Support Coordinator to support the operations of the Academic Department. As the English Lecturer, you will be required to complete relevant English teaching assignments. As the Assistant Academic Support Coordinator, you will support initiatives to develop the academic standards of students beyond the core curriculum. You will be part of a dynamic team working in a fast-paced environment as the college strives for academic transformation.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in any discipline
- Self-starter with willingness to explore fresh ideas in student engagement
- Creative problem solver with experience in curriculum management
- High level of discretion with strict integrity standards in handling confidential matters
- Good oral and written communication skills, with ability to engage with people from diverse backgrounds
- Adept in using Microsoft Office and online meeting tools like Teams, Zoom, Google Meet and Lark
- Knowledge in Korean language will be an advantage
- An understanding of Music and Arts will be beneficial, but not requiredRole includes English teaching assignments; hence any English teaching certifications will be viewed favourably

Responsibilities:
- Complete relevant English teaching assignments, including delivery of approved lesson plans, preparation and marking of assessments
- Support initiatives to assist students in meeting academic standards of the College and its Academic Partners
- Research, evaluate and implement teaching strategies and materials to ensure academic quality standards in areas of content, delivery and assessment are met and continually improved.
- Support the Academic Department in the student selection process through conducting relevant entrance tests and promotional activities.
- Provide mentorship, pastoral care and support to students
