QUALIFIED ENGLISH TEACHER - FULL-TIME POSITION

Location: Bradford, West Yorkshire
Contract: Full-Time, Fixed Term (Until Easter in the First Instance)

REQUIREMENTS:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• A degree in English or a related subject.
• Proven experience teaching English at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 levels.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.

  Veritas Education work with a variety of schools covering a wide geographical area. We deal with teaching placements at Primary, Secondary and college level as well as support staff positions also within these.

ROLE OVERVIEW:

As a Qualified English Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students. You will play a key role in fostering a love for English, developing students’ language and literary skills, and helping them achieve their full potential.
This full-time position is available immediately and will run until Easter in the first instance, with potential for extension.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality English lessons that cater to a range of learning abilities.
• Monitor, assess, and record student progress, providing constructive feedback to ensure academic success.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and achievement.
• Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to departmental initiatives and school-wide goals.
• Participate in parent-teacher meetings, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities.
