ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are looking for a passionate and motivated English Tutor to join our Maths & English division. This part-time role involves delivering face-to-face teaching and supporting learners as they work towards their GCSE English qualifications. In some instances, you may also deliver Functional Skills to learners with Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs), depending on the academy.
You will work with learners pursuing vocational qualifications in fields such as public services (military academy), hair and beauty, and construction, focusing on empowering those without existing English or Maths qualifications to achieve academic success.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons in GCSE English.
• Provide Functional Skills instruction where necessary (case-by-case basis).
• Support learners who do not yet hold English or Maths qualifications.
• Adapt teaching strategies to cater to the diverse needs of learners in various vocational disciplines.
