The Role
We are looking for a Casual Practice Nurse to join our Royal Park practice to be a key team member working collaboratively with an experience team of Nurses and General Practitioners, providing high quality and comprehensive care for all patients.
The Tasks
- Performing health assessments
- Administering vaccines
- Post vaccination observations and monitoring
- Triaging patients and prioritization of emergency situations
- Assisting GP with minor procedures
- Coordination, management, and maintenance of patient clinical data
- Wound dressings and removal of sutures
- Health education and coaching to support patients with achievement of their goals
The Successful Candidate
- AHPRA registered Enrolled or Registered Nurse
- Proven prior experience in General Practice or an acute setting
- Knowledge of Health Assessment is highly regarded
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Outstanding communication and customer service skills
- A passion for people and a personable approach
