Description:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- 5-7+ years of experience in enterprise sales, account management, or related roles, preferably in the technology industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and growing strategic enterprise accounts.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Strong business acumen and ability to understand complex customer environments and challenges.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing multiple stakeholders, willingness to travel as needed to meet with customers and internal teams.
As an Enterprise Account Manager you will have the exciting opportunity to help promote the growth and shape the future of an emerging technology.
Your responsibility will be to increase the market penetration of AWS in the enterprise accounts. The ideal candidate will possess both a business and technical background of the KSA market that enables them to engage an account at the CXO level as well as with software developers and IT architects. You should also be a self-starter who is prepared to develop and execute against a territory coverage plan.
Sales, Marketing and Global Services (SMGS)
AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.
Key job responsibilities
- Promote AWS services in a defined territory or industry vertical
- Develop and execute against a comprehensive account/territory plan
- Create & articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services
- Facilitate customer adoption
- Maintain a robust projects pipeline
- Work with partners to extend reach & promote adoption
- Contribute to positive customer experience
- Expect moderate travel.
A day in the life
- Develop and execute account strategies to drive AWS adoption and revenue growth within your assigned enterprise accounts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives, IT decision-makers, and technical teams.
- Understand customers’ business objectives, technical requirements, and pain points, and position AWS services and solutions to address their needs.
- Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams, including Solutions Architects, Professional Services, and Partner teams, to deliver seamless customer experiences.
- Develop and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and proof-of-concept demonstrations to showcase AWS capabilities.
- Manage contract negotiations, renewals, and commercial terms to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Forecast and track pipeline opportunities, ensuring accurate revenue forecasting and achievement of sales targets.
- Stay up-to-date with AWS service offerings, industry trends, and competitors’ activities to provide strategic guidance to customers.
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within existing accounts and targeted prospects.
