Description:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • At least 6-8 years of experience in IT administration, server management and with a focus on enterprise-level environments. Experience in a leadership role is preferred.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or similar) are highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Windows and Linux server environments, Active Directory, Group Policy, and Office 365 administration.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders (Both English/Spanish).

TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Data modeling tools.
  • Experience with ITIL framework and application of best industry practices.
  • Experience with industry Architectural frameworks (e.g. Zachman) and their implementation.
  • Experience with Retail systems including point-of-sales, warehousing/distribution, and merchandising systems.
  • Experience with mobile/wireless technologies in a retail environment.
  • Develop and manage complex projects related to network, storage, and server technologies.
  • Infrastructure deployment and troubleshooting, including virtual appliances, server farms, and 3rd party tools (VMWare, Active Directory, SQL Server, Symantec Backup, IIS, Group Policy, Remote Desktop Services, O365, Exchange, SharePoint, System Security).
  • Install and manage server and client hardware, operating systems, and application software.
  • Server Virtualization VMWare on Cisco UCS platform (Microsoft Windows Server 2016/2012/2008/2003, Windows 8/7).
  • Designs, documents, configures, implements, and maintains all network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.).
  • Knowledge of networking protocols such as OSPF, BGP, VTP, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN, and VPN design and integration.
  • Active Directory design, administration, and implementation.
  • Microsoft O365 and multi-platform messaging system integration.
  • Network patching, backup, and archive.
  • Disaster Recovery planning, Anti-Virus, and backup and archive solutions.
  • Experience with Voice Technologies (VoIP, SIP trunking).
  • Application-related technology support and Help Desk ticket completion within SLAs.
  • Monitoring the performance of systems.
  • Excellent understanding of templating and automation scripting such as Power-shell, Ansible, and Puppet.

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

As an Enterprise Administrator for one of BPO Labs’ most significant clients, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the client’s IT/Server infrastructure. This position requires a strategic thinker with deep technical expertise, capable of leading complex IT projects, maintaining systems, and ensuring optimal performance, security, and compliance across the organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee the overall IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage, and cloud services, to ensure reliability, security, and scalability.
  • Manage and coordinate the integration of various IT systems across the enterprise to ensure seamless interoperability and data flow.
  • Manage and maintain all physical and virtual servers, ensuring optimal performance, security updates, and routine backups. Monitor server health, perform system diagnostics, and resolve hardware or software issues promptly.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain security protocols, policies, and procedures to protect enterprise assets. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Regularly monitor system performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement optimizations to maintain high availability and efficiency.
  • Support (Tier 2/3) – Ability to monitor, trouble-shoot, and resolve enterprise infrastructure issues as they arise. Identify and provide strategic solutions to achieve a stable environment.
  • Work closely with internal teams and external vendors to manage projects, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical guidance. Lead cross-functional teams in deploying new technologies and initiatives.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of all IT systems, configurations, and processes. Provide regular reports to senior management on system performance, security, and compliance.
