JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Enterprise Architect in Source & Supply for zooplus, you will support delivery teams in the development of detailed solution roadmaps for a well-defined set of capabilities or logical group of systems, services or projects. You will also partner closely with engineers and project management to ensure that implementation meets design expectations. You will be proactive in reaching out to other architects and leaders in teams with which your technology integrates and you drive results through strong cross-functional collaboration. You will serve as the organization’s subject matter expert for capabilities in your portfolio and work actively within the Architecture Community of Practice.
- In partnership with Business Analysts, Project Managers, Product Owners, Engineers and other Architects, you provide leadership in defining project requirements and success criteria along with guiding the design throughout the development lifecycle
- Partner with IT functions and their domain architects to design integrated IT solutions (including the build vs. buy decision) that translate business capability requirements and adhere to established technology standards by integration with infrastructure, application, and data
- Collaborate with other Enterprise / Area Architects within the organization to ensure consistency and alignment across the firm’s technology landscape.
- Participate and present at architecture design reviews
- Proactively align with key stakeholders, seek organizational context and apply learnings to architecture solutions; be comfortable supporting and communicating with diverse technical and business teams.
- Evaluate, document, and escalate alterations to future state architectures.
- Communicates trade-offs in different types of engineering and architecture processes and adjust your team’s process to meet the needs of the project and others on the team
- Contribute to the growth and strength of the architecture community of practice by actively attending and presenting at community events
Your key responsibilities are:
- Develop overall product architecture vision that is also aligned with enterprise vision
- Develop architecture and design for supply chain capabilities and initiatives to improve cost, productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations, in line with business goals and financial objectives
- Analyze and translate business requirements into architectural blueprints using as much as possible of standard enterprise solutions.
- Determine optimal approach to develop and deliver required functionality from financial, architectural, operational perspectives.
- Provide visibility of the Enterprise/Domain architecture and validate associated development efforts
- Plan and lead legacy-to-Enterprise transformation initiatives
- Review and assess new Enterprise products and offerings against business needs
- Drive guidelines & policies to govern product development efforts
- Ensure overall quality of the software architecture for relevant product areas.
- Create architecture blueprints
- Maintain overall state and foresee future needs in IT and technology.
- Help product teams in their daily work and maintain hands-on technical expertise

QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent working experience in architecting and designing Supply chain, logistics and master data capabilities and solution
- IT OR Software Engineering Background
- Good working experience in the architectural role (solution design, integration, and governance)
- Experience architecting and designing supply chain planning systems – e.g. Kinaxis, o9 Solutions, Blue Yonder, SAP-IBP, etc.
- Excellent knowledge of data transmission technologies (e.g. EDI, API, SFTP, etc.) and integration into supply chain processes
- Excellent technical leadership skills
- Experience communicating to C-Suite leadership internally and externally.
- Excellent knowledge of architecture approaches/paradigms and technology alternatives
- Excellent ability of understanding problem domain both from business and technical perspective and design solutions for it
- Profound knowledge in the applied business domain
- Profound organizational, communication, conflicts resolving skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge in driving project and agile methodologies.
