Job Title: Enterprise Architect
Location: Fully Remote
Salary: DOE + full benefits

REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Extensive experience in solution design.
  • Deep knowledge of developing both current and future architecture.
  • Strong background in conducting application assessments.
  • Proven experience in developing IT standards.
  • Expertise in creating roadmaps.
  • Skilled in establishing processes to manage an Enterprise Architecture Program.
  • Solid understanding of portfolio management.
  • Proficient in cloud readiness and cloud architecture.
  • Knowledgeable in security architecture.
  • Experienced in developing business strategies and performing gap analysis.
  • Competent in conducting alternative analysis for technology acquisition.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data analytics, business intelligence, economics, statistics, or mathematics
  • Master’s Degree or higher (preferred – not required)
  • Years of experience can substitute for a degree

Responsibilities:

  • Establishes system information requirements using analysis of the information engineer(s) in the development of enterprise-wide or large-scale information systems.
  • Develops Enterprise Architecture (EA) models and IT strategy and manages 8 architecture project activities.
  • Participates in the analysis and development of long-term strategic and operating plans to align EA objectives and organizational plans.
  • Designs architecture to include the software, hardware, and communications to support the total requirements as well as provide for present and future cross-functional requirements and interfaces.
  • Ensures systems are compatible and in compliance with the standards for open systems architectures, the Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) and International Standards Organization (ISO) reference models and profiles of standards - such as Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) Open Systems Environment (OSE) reference model - as they apply to the implementation and specification of Information Management (IM) solution of the application platform, across the application program interface (API), and the external environment/software application.
  • Evaluates analytically and systematically problems of workflows, organization, and planning and develops appropriate corrective action.
  • Produces technical reports, studies, briefing materials, information support plans, and other technical documentation as required.
