Description:
Job Title: Enterprise Architect
Location: Fully Remote
Salary: DOE + full benefits
Clearance: Active Public Trust (or ability to obtain)
REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
- Extensive experience in solution design.
- Deep knowledge of developing both current and future architecture.
- Strong background in conducting application assessments.
- Proven experience in developing IT standards.
- Expertise in creating roadmaps.
- Skilled in establishing processes to manage an Enterprise Architecture Program.
- Solid understanding of portfolio management.
- Proficient in cloud readiness and cloud architecture.
- Knowledgeable in security architecture.
- Experienced in developing business strategies and performing gap analysis.
- Competent in conducting alternative analysis for technology acquisition.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data analytics, business intelligence, economics, statistics, or mathematics
- Master’s Degree or higher (preferred – not required)
- Years of experience can substitute for a degree
Responsibilities:
- Establishes system information requirements using analysis of the information engineer(s) in the development of enterprise-wide or large-scale information systems.
- Develops Enterprise Architecture (EA) models and IT strategy and manages 8 architecture project activities.
- Participates in the analysis and development of long-term strategic and operating plans to align EA objectives and organizational plans.
- Designs architecture to include the software, hardware, and communications to support the total requirements as well as provide for present and future cross-functional requirements and interfaces.
- Ensures systems are compatible and in compliance with the standards for open systems architectures, the Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) and International Standards Organization (ISO) reference models and profiles of standards - such as Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) Open Systems Environment (OSE) reference model - as they apply to the implementation and specification of Information Management (IM) solution of the application platform, across the application program interface (API), and the external environment/software application.
- Evaluates analytically and systematically problems of workflows, organization, and planning and develops appropriate corrective action.
- Produces technical reports, studies, briefing materials, information support plans, and other technical documentation as required.
