POSITION DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a skilled Enterprise Architecture Technical Architect to join our team!
This role focuses on designing, implementing, and overseeing the technology infrastructure that supports enterprise applications and services. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of network architecture, security practices, infrastructure optimization, and cloud computing. They will collaborate with other architects and technology teams to ensure robust, scalable, and secure IT systems.
KEY CAPABILITIES
- Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture framework and ensure alignment with business strategies
- Design and oversee the implementation of scalable and resilient technology solutions
- Remain current with industry trends and emerging technologies to foster innovation within the organization
- Lead architecture reviews and provide technical guidance throughout project lifecycles
- Technology Roadmap - Develop and maintain a technology infrastructure roadmap that aligns with enterprise architecture and business strategies.
- Infrastructure Design - Lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable, and high-performance IT infrastructure, including cloud, on-premise, and hybrid environments.
- Security - Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to ensure that all technology architectures adhere to security best practices and compliance requirements.
- Cloud Strategy - Support cloud adoption and migration strategies, ensuring efficient use of cloud services while minimizing costs.
- Systems Optimization - Identify opportunities for system performance improvements, cost optimization, and enhanced operational efficiency.
- Disaster Recovery - Design and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure the availability of critical systems.
- Collaboration - Work closely with other enterprise architects, security teams, and operations teams to ensure alignment across all architecture layers.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Typically requires 13+ years, with 8+ years, of direct work-related experience
CRITICAL SKILLS
- Expertise in networking, storage, and compute technologies.
- Strong knowledge of cloud architectures and cloud-native technologies.
- Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, etc.)
- Communicate architectural decisions and plans effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline preferred or relevant professional experience
