DESCRIPTION

The Enterprise Business Development Manager provides end-to-end ownership of opportunities with named Global Managed Accounts. By strategically targeting these accounts, the Business Development Manager ensures that potential customers are aware of JT’s offerings and value proposition, expanding JT’s market presence and client base.
In addition to uncovering new opportunities, you will be responsible for achieving financial growth targets that align with the overall JT strategy. This involves setting and meeting ambitious sales goals, developing strategic plans, and fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders. You will not only contribute to JT’s immediate revenue growth but also build a sustainable pipeline for future business, ensuring long-term success and competitiveness in the market.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE

  • Having a full understanding of JT Global propositions, creating tailored value propositions for our customers.
  • A proven track record in uncovering and closing large transformation IT infrastructure projects in new logo accounts.
  • Someone who is aligned to customer business challenges and clearly understands the dynamics this brings.
  • Influencing and developing strategic partnerships, Proven experience of working with multiple manufacturers and partners; and managing conflicting demands and expectation.
  • The ability to work effectively with our technical solution experts in defining the right proposition from inception to delivery start and commercial close.
  • Strong understanding of strategic and technology issues across the JT Global & Digital market place.
  • Understanding of commercial and risk management in a Solutions environment.
  • Make decisions within scope of authority, taking into account commercial, strategic and business impact, only referring to line manager as last resort to qualify decisions or seek agreement.
  • Ability to substantiate decisions and provide sound evidence.
  • Communicate with a broad range of people at all levels, but mainly high-level senior management, company owners and key stakeholders / decision makers.
  • To be experienced in writing concise plans, reports and strategic documents.
  • The ability to lead internal and external presentations including at ExCo and Operational Reviews

Responsibilities:

  • Provide consultancy for new and existing customers and advise on strategic direction and initiatives.
  • To uncover new opportunities and provide end-to-end ownership for JT Global opportunities with named Global Account Managed accounts that currently have no billing services with JT.
  • To achieve financial growth targets set to deliver against the overall JT Global strategy.
  • Support the qualification process with the prospect customer and pre-sales teams
  • Assisting the prospect customer through a process of understanding their requirements, defining a solution, creating a compelling proposition and responsible for negotiating commercials and closing the deal.
  • Responsible for managing the internal service providers and any external suppliers
  • Drive partnership & collaboration with key vendors in association with our Vendor Supplier manager.
  • Develop strategy to maximise opportunities and grow market share with these named prospect accounts.
  • Arrange, and participate in, demonstrations of equipment and services to potential customers, and provide direction to the marketing team in relation to activities needed to support the JT strategy.
  • Ensure solutions are delivered on time and within budget, ensuring maximum profitability for the business.
  • Utilize the current CRM system to produce real time pipeline reports, forecasting and to maintain essential customer information.
  • Manage and report performance against strategic account plans.
  • Working closely with the Channel Island based Account Managers, acquire net new TCV from these accounts.
