Description:
Responsibilities:
- Lead and Manage Information Management Initiatives and ensure they align with business objectives and drive improvements in information capability.
- Contribute to Enterprise-wide Solutions, including the implementation of an enterprise-wide search capability and manage-in-place information compliance platform with a focus on connecting business information systems to these platforms through API or other connector solutions.
- Help Shape Strategic Direction including work plans for information management activities and support for ICT and data management efforts in line with the agency’s compliance obligations and technology opportunities.
- Facilitate the Transition to Modern Governance Practices by developing and overseeing governance and operational capability improvements, in line with the NAA’s Building Trust in the Public Record Policy and other government policies.
- Ensure MDBA’s Information Architecture meets Legislative Recordkeeping Requirements through all transition stages by collaborating with the Information Compliance Manager and Records Officer to ensure compliance, including managing the sunsetting of legacy recordkeeping systems.
- Optimise the Information Content and its Compliance within Business Information Systems by assessing and identifying opportunities for improvements and efficiencies.
- Support ICT Projects and enhance their adoption, including leveraging M365 information governance to bolster MDBA’s information governance architecture
