Put simply, for this role the key things we’re looking for are:

  • Extensive experience in Enterprise PMO roles.
  • Substantial experience in a retail or consumer goods business.
  • You will have excellent, cross functional planning experience and skills.
  • Good analytical skills, with the ability to manipulate, analyse and present it confidently.
  • Experience reporting to executive level verbally as well as through dashboards and reports – simple, concise, and actionable information, pitched at the right level.
  • In depth understanding of change delivery methods (both waterfall and agile methodologies), including the complexities of project/programme delivery.
  • Experience of having implemented a PPM tool enterprise wide.
  • Experience of implementing capacity planning methods & tools.

Responsibilities:

As our Enterprise PMO Manager you will be accountable for:

  • Setting standards and gathering information to build a transformation plan that is recognised by the business by working hand in hand with Executive Sponsors, Project Leaders, and Managers.
  • Ensuring plans are accurate and up to date, integrating different plans across related projects or programmes.
  • Consolidating project and programme plans to be presented executive and management level.
  • Analysing, question and stress test project/programme plans, management information and KPI’s to ensure they align to intended business objectives and goals.
  • Supporting quarterly and annual planning activity to maintain the strategic plan as priorities change.
  • Identifying and monitoring project and programme dependencies.
  • Leading the organisations transition to a global PPM tool.
  • Driving the lessons learnt framework.
  • Championing best practice – making sure alignment to the EPMO best practice.
  • Driving forward continuous improvement, focusing on quality of outputs, and driving maturity in change delivery
