Description:

C.H. Robinson is seeking a dynamic Product Owner to lead the strategic direction and success of our Global Forwarding Customer Digital products (Navisphere.com, API, EDI).
In this role, you will shape the product’s vision and strategy, turning it into actionable plans that enhance the customer experience. You will work closely with global cross-functional teams, prioritize features, and collaborate with engineers to deliver impactful solutions. As the voice of the customer, you will ensure product features align with real-world needs and contribute to business growth.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

  • Over 2 years of logistics/supply chain experience, preferably in the global forwarding domain
  • Proven ability and willingness to quickly learn new applications
  • Understanding of technical strategy and product development vision
  • Demonstrated critical thinking, negotiation, facilitation, consulting, problem solving, decision-making, strategic and analytical skills
  • Strong facilitator; adept at running meetings with end users, soliciting, and managing business requirements, and balancing priorities
  • Knowledge of transportation management systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluent English

Preferred:

  • Experience in product management or technology business analysis
  • Product discovery expertise
  • Agile process experience for iterative development

Responsibilities:

The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Develop your product’s vision and strategy and apply to every day decision making.
  • Keep team leaders and business partners informed on deliverables; identify, mitigate, and escalate risks that could impact project or feature deadlines.
  • Translate product strategy into user stories for engineering teams
  • Maintain and prioritize a backlog of refined user stories for development
  • Collaborate with and support developers during their design and development efforts to provide support for their analysis of the story.
  • Create/review test plans, test cases and assist with functional testing, as needed.
  • Validate that product feature deliveries meet requirements.
  • Lead and participate in daily Stand-Up meetings, Sprint Demonstrations, Retrospectives, and Sprint Planning.
  • Develop deep domain expertise in the supply chain industry and apply that understanding to deliver user story specifications.
  • Respond to support incidents, including diagnosing the issue and working with your team and others to determine a potential fix and priority.
  • Work with the team to estimate project work and help drive projects to successful completion.
