About the role
As an Enterprise Risk Management – Risk Reporting Manager you will have the opportunity to help develop and establish firmwide enterprise risk reporting processes, quantitative risk analytics, risk aggregation and risk appetite reporting, and maturity across the firm across all Service Lines by delivering proactive, high quality and value-added service as part of a maturing central Risk Function at Mazars.
This internal facing role will principally involve working with the Enterprise Risk Director in helping the enhance and develop high quality risk management reporting processes, and an incident and event reporting and risk aware culture across the organisation. This will include developing the strategic approach for Enterprise Risk Management reporting firmwide, developing a sustainable and value adding service for the business to manage its risk profile.
You will report to the Enterprise Risk Director. They in turn report to the Executive Committee, Cahir of the Risk and Quality Committee (RQC) as well as the Audit and Risk Committee (ARC), and Governance Council (GC).

What are we looking for?

  • You will support development of a firmwide risk reporting process (financial and non-financial), including aggregating risk, incident and event reporting firmwide
  • Production and preparation of reporting of risks (Financial and non-financial) to the appropriate forum and committee, including the Executive Committee
  • Drive the embeddedness of Enterprise Risk reporting firmwide
  • Undertake the development, implementation and maintaining of key reporting tools
  • Owner of the internal GRC system firmwide
  • Co- ordination, oversight and collation of Service Lines and other Business unit risk reporting MI
  • Shape, build and drive high quality risk reporting management processes, frameworks and culture across the organisation.
  • Helping to implement and collate appropriate Executive level Horizon scanning and emerging risks across each Service Line
  • Production and preparation of reporting of risks (Financial and non-financial) to the appropriate forum and committee, including the Executive Committee
  • Monitor financial and non – financial risk KRI reporting
  • Embed a positive culture of confident and informed risk reporting through training, communication and promotion of the risk framework
  • Provide subject matter expertise and challenge to business response, management and mitigation of material risk exposures and red flags
  • Provide oversight and challenge of Risk Management Information
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned from time to time

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

  • Significant proven experience in report writing and analytical skills
  • Demonstrable experience with using SAAS, PowerBI, Microsoft suite,
  • Ability to analysis and evaluate large volumes of data in an efficient and organised manner
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Experience engaging with senior stakeholders, and challenging rationales as part of an independent function
  • Good understanding of enterprise-wide risk management
  • 3+ years experience within a risk function of a financial services company preferably
  • Maintaining control and stability under pressure whilst recognising the deadline or urgency to be dealt with within a rapidly changing environment
