REQUIREMENTS

  • Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Information Technology, or other related fields.
  • 4+ years technical experience in architecting or engineering security solutions for an enterprise.
  • Broad understanding of infrastructure, applications, and risk management.
  • Deep understanding of Cloud technologies and security fundamentals to support regulatory frameworks, audit requirements and assessments
  • Solid experience with cloud security strategy and cloud provider ecosystems (Azure/AWS/GCP).
  • Experience with migrating from on-prem data center infrastructure, application and data designs to hybrid or fully-cloud enabled practices.
  • Knowledge of cloud networking architecture, cloud operations, cloud-based identity access and management, security, automation, and orchestration.
  • In-depth understanding of security protocols and standards and experience with software, system, and network security architectures.
  • Significant experience with Network Security principles, such as Firewalls, perimeter defenses, load balancers, proxy servers.
  • Experience in security tooling and automation.
  • Understand DevOps ideologies while driving and communicating change supporting DevOps/SecOps methodology within the organization.
  • Professional architecture or security certification such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Microsoft Cybersecurity Architect, or other similar credentials.

Responsibilities:

JOB PURPOSE

As a member of Husky’s Enterprise Architecture team, the Security Architect has a pivotal role in securing Husky’s digital transformation by designing, developing, and overseeing the implementation of network and computer security structures, ensuring security requirements are adequately addressed in all aspects of the infrastructure, and the systems supporting Husky’s operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Translate security policies into architectural security standards, guidelines, reference architectures, and solutions.
  • Provide end-to-end, full stack security architecture subject matter expertise to delivery teams, solution architects and vendors to ensure the acquired or developed systems and architectures are consistent with Husky’s security policies and practices.
  • Help drive and communicate Security Architecture technology strategy to leaders and Solution Architects via architecture patterns, roadmaps, conceptual diagrams, and solution documents.
  • Participate in the Security Committee and the Architectural Review Board to validate proposed solution architectures.
  • Perform security reviews and identify gaps or determine the capability of security architectures and designs and develop a security risk management plan.
  • Help identify opportunities to enhance process and technology solutions.
  • Advise on security requirements and risk management process activities.
  • Support incident management and post-analysis advising on recovery operations.
  • Work in a distributed team and be a mentor to other architects and engineers.
