The Technology Strategy & Transformation team is responsible for assisting our global clients to navigate complex business and technology decisions and to deliver on their technology transformation journey. They advise CIOs and Tech Leaders, helping them to define their strategy and architecture roadmap to transform their organisations for the digital age, including how to re-structure large technology ecosystems to meet these objectives. They develop blueprints to implement tailored solutions that fulfils the strategy and provide technical assurance on complex technology delivery programmes.
We are looking for experienced solution or enterprise architects to join our talented team. You will be client facing, working with some of the largest global and local organisations.
About the role:
- Lead large client engagements and business development activities, with a strong market trends awareness around architecture, digital technologies, and cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, GCP, SAP, ServiceNow, Oracle).
- Lead architecture teams that deliver Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture or technology strategies and blueprints.
- Define and deliver the client’s architecture vision, as well as effective architecture options analysis & design decisions.
- Define and execute the client’s architecture management, governance and assurance process.
- Define the roadmap and sequencing of initiatives to support our client’s strategy.
- Provide technical assurance to complex technology enabled transformation programme.
- Lead the development of architecture methods and collateral to build architecture community and capability.
- Use architecture knowledge and skills to support business development, build external eminence and lead the planning and running of architecture learning and development initiatives.
- Work effectively in diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution.
About you:
We are looking for practicing and aspiring solution and enterprise architects preferably with the following skills and experience. Please note that you are not required to have all that are listed below.
- The ability to communicate complex technical subjects effectively to a business audience.
- Experience working in one or more architecture domains (business, solution, application, information, integration, infrastructure and security) either acting as a team member or leading teams.
- Experience and an interest in identifying, leading, closing and supporting sales opportunities.
- Proven technical problem-solving skills.
- A keen interest in technology and how this can be applied to solve business challenges.
- A good business acumen and interpersonal skills to interact with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Experience in providing advisory services to Board-level and C-suite stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in large-scale transformation programmes.
- Ability to integrate and influence teams and colleagues.
- Willingness to travel to the Deloitte office and client locations when required.
