About the team
Our Product and Technology teams are the Worldpayers behind the game-changing products and digital experiences we’re best known for. Striving for better, they never stand still — delivering impactful innovations that power transactions across the world.
The Enterprise Solution Architect team is a dynamic and diverse group of colleagues within the CTO’s organization. Their focus is on spearheading innovative and high-quality solutions for the Enterprise. This is achieved through collaboration with various teams across the organization, including the Office of the CTO, Product teams, Portfolio teams, Segment teams, Engineering teams, CIO teams, Security teams, Procurement teams, as well as external partners and vendors. The team’s primary objective is delivering solutions, pattern and frameworks that align with the organization’s overarching goals and objectives.

What you’ll own

  • Documenting the Current and Target state of the technology landscape.
  • Facilitating, collaborating and partnering with our ternal constituents to evolve the Target state and standards for Worldpay’s technology platforms.
  • Develop ‘Architecture product north stars’, Solution Blue Prints and assist in the development of roadmaps aligning to Product and Segment roadmaps.
  • Identifying, defining and implementing enterprise Patterns and Frameworks
  • Maintaining standards and policies catalogues.
  • Maintaining Worldpay’s domain model.
  • Maintaining Worldpay’s lightweight business capability model.

What you bring

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience. Post-graduate education desired. Requires the following experience or equivalent combination of education and experience for the Enterprise Architect Specialist role:

  • Must have led technology direction for multiple products and lines of business/segments including presenting architecture concepts through all level of the organization.
  • Exhibit “Deep Technical Skills” in support of business, information and solution architecture to achieve collective organizational goals.
  • Exemplify “Distinguished” Communication Skills that show your ability to effectively communicate, influence, negotiate and present across all levels of the organization from front office to senior levels.
  • Demonstrated experience as application, enterprise and/or information architect responsible for leading multiple “very large”(i.e., 10,000+ hours) driving business value.
  • Ideally a demonstrated, strong and industry leading experience in digital, portal, identity capabilities.
  • May also require one or more of the following experience requirements:
  • Ten or more years working in a distributed and heterogeneous computing environment (ZOS, UNIX, Windows, Mobile, …)
  • Ten or more years demonstrated experience in working with relational (and/or hierarchical) databases
  • Ten or more years demonstrated experience in modern software application technologies
  • Successful design and implementation of enterprise shared services including event frameworks and patterns
  • Experience in building On-Line Transaction Processing (OLTP), batch and reporting systems
  • Experience in using Unified Modeling Language (UML) for Object Modeling
  • Experience in building robust and scalable infrastructure architectures (telephony systems, network services, web farms, multiple-node systems, etc.
