Description:

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 3 years’ systems/applications experience in a medium to large enterprise environment.
  • Experience with use of Azure Logic Apps, Service Connections, Function Apps, DataLake, Synapse to integrate data between disparate source and target systems.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform: PowerApps; PowerAutomate; PowerPages.
  • Experience with the following development languages: C#, Python, PowerShell.
  • Experience with Cloud based applications and their support and implementation.
  • Experience with Enterprise Integration Frameworks

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Understand the concepts and applications of Microsoft technologies related to Dynamics 365 including the Power Platform and Microsoft Azure.

EDUCATION

  • Post-secondary graduate with a degree, diploma or certificate in computer science or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Special Requirements

  • Occasional travel may be required.
  • Ability to participate in on-call after hours support rotation.
  • Evening and occasional weekend work will be required.

Responsibilities:

ROLE DESCRIPTION

The Systems Analyst ensures that Kal Tire’s mission-critical Enterprise Solutions are aligned with Kal Tire’s business needs and are operating effectively and supported appropriately. This position requires an understanding of Kal Tire business processes and ERP application suites (Cloud and On Premise) and works closely with functional leads, infrastructure teams and internal/external vendors to solve system problems.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Support

  • Participate in projects as required.
  • Manage support activities that are provided internally and externally.
  • Participate in Tier 2 support tasks.
  • Troubleshoot ES system support issues.
  • Support roadmaps for operational applications.
  • Manage the escalation process (or lifecycle) for incidents and service requests.

Implementation and Maintenance

  • Deployment of ES systems to all environments.
  • Ensure standards are maintained by the development team (internal or external).
  • Ensure documentation standards are maintained by the team (internal or external).
  • Ensure systems are managed and monitored appropriately.
  • Enhance, train and document formal processes required for the EOS team.

Representation

  • Represent business units for solution delivery projects.
  • Liaison between IS, business users and the external vendor.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Identify knowledge and expertise requirements for functional leads and support teams.
  • Provide framework and processes for management of all EOS systems.
