Description:

Are you seeking a new entrepreneurial adventure that offers the opportunity to build a deep-tech startup in the Medical Devices sector?
Ebeam4Terapy, beneficiary of the EIC Tech to Market Venture Building Programme and backed by The Weizmann Institute of Science, is looking for an entrepreneurial profile with business acumen, startup experience, and solid knowledge in Medical Devices to join the team and complement the technical expertise of the current team.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or Marketing and/or 5+ years of experience in business development.
  • Proven experience in Healthtech projects or Medical Devices.
  • Demonstrated project management experience.
  • Established network in the healthcare sector, particularly in radiotherapy.
  • Experience in public and private fundraising, ideally at the European level.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English.
  • Proficiency in German is desirable.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and determination.
  • Prior entrepreneurial experience is highly valued.
  • Willingness to relocate to Germany after the residency.

Responsibilities:

As the Entrepreneur in Residence, you will work with the team for six months to lead the business validation process. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Understanding client requirements and potential market engagement, including low- and middle-income countries.
  • Analyzing competitive business models to benchmark our project offering.
  • Drafting a compelling investor package.
  • Creating a partnering strategy for upcoming R&D.
  • Ensuring the spin-off is ready for a seamless transition from academia to industry.
  • Validating your relationship with the current team and exploring the opportunity to join the founding team post-residency.
