Job Overview: We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Traveling Field Technician to join our team. This entry-level position is perfect for recent college graduates who are eager to start their careers in a dynamic and impactful field. You will perform on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of our technical systems and equipment, working closely with customers and internal teams to ensure the proper functioning of our systems and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Recent college graduate with a degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Technology, Environmental Science).
  • Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to convey technical information to non-technical individuals.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to think quickly and make decisions in high-pressure situations.
  • Willingness to travel extensively and work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.
  • Ability to work in field settings and outdoors, in a bee environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Technical certifications or relevant vocational training.
  • Previous internship or hands-on experience in a related field.

Responsibilities:

  • On-site Installation and Setup:
  • Travel to various field locations to install and set up technical equipment.
  • Ensure installations are completed according to specifications and meet quality standards.
  • Maintenance and Repairs:
  • Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, performing repairs as needed.
  • Collaborate with the technical support team to resolve complex problems.
  • Documentation:
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment installations, maintenance activities, and repairs.
  • Prepare detailed reports on service visits, including findings and solutions implemented.
