Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Entry Level Procurement Analyst to join our dynamic team in Kennedy Space Center, Florida!

SECURITY CLEARANCE AND EXPORT CONTROL REQUIREMENTS:

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • 1+ years of experience in Supplier Management/ Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer.
  • 1+ years of experience with Supplier Management or Procurement practices and processes.
  • 1+ years of experience using Microsoft Office Tools, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • 1+ years of experience with data analysis.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience with shortage analysis.
  • Experience working in a team environment.
  • Experience being organized with strong time-management skills.

TYPICAL EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. 4 years’ related work experience).

Responsibilities:

  • Assists in the development and deployment of internal/external process improvements, organization initiatives and projects/procurement activities.
  • Assists with the maintenance of processes and systems.
  • Utilizes procurement/planning systems to ensure planning, validation, and maintaining of all requirements for procurement analysis.
  • Supports the coordination and tracking of action items and metrics, supplier management procedures for planning, procurement plans, shortage mitigation, schedule validation, self-governance, and inventory analysis.
