The Engineering Systems Engineering Design Software (CAD/CAM) team is searching for a motivated Entry Level Software Developer to join our team in North Charleston, SC; Everett, WA; Kent, WA; Renton, WA; or Seattle, WA.
As a part of our team, you will participate in the design, development, and delivery of future engineering design products for the Boeing Enterprise.

THIS POSITION MUST MEET EXPORT CONTROL COMPLIANCE REQUIREMENTS. TO MEET EXPORT CONTROL COMPLIANCE REQUIREMENTS, A “U.S. PERSON” AS DEFINED BY 22 C.F.R. §120.15 IS REQUIRED. “U.S. PERSON” INCLUDES U.S. CITIZEN, LAWFUL PERMANENT RESIDENT, REFUGEE, OR ASYLEE.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):

  • Experience with programming in C/C++
  • Experience with developing software products and scalable applications
  • Experience effectively working in Linux/Unix environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Experience with CAD/CAM software such as Dassault Systems CATIA and/or Enovia

TYPICAL EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Works with teammates to program, test, implement, and document complex computing applications and software
  • Works with teammates to analyze end user processes to define application requirements
  • Modifies or upgrades complex applications to maintain functionality and performance
  • Identifies and recommends system and application improvements
  • Aids in the troubleshooting and fixing of product bugs
  • Collaborates on the development of custom software and integrations for current and future-state CAD/CAM (Computer Aided Design/Computer Aided Manufacturing solutions
