Integra Underground is a coal operation within Glencore Coal Assets Australia located near Singleton and within an hour of Newcastle. We are seeking a results-driven, highly motivated Environment & Community Coordinator to join our close knit team. This position is permanent, full time, working a Monday to Friday roster. We offer an attractive remuneration package including performance-based bonuses. Relocation assistance may be available for eligible candidates. Reporting to the Environment & Community Manager, you will implement the environmental management system to meet both regulatory and company requirements. Your responsibilities will include: implementing environmental monitoring programs; implementing rehabilitation and land management plans; assisting with relevant regulatory plans associated with mine closure, providing technical advice on environmental requirements and coordinating community consultation and engagement practices. About you:

• Relevant experience and tertiary qualification in environmental science or similar.
• A sound understanding of NSW environmental legislation and the environmental aspects of coal mining
• You will have exceptional leadership capability, interpersonal skills and strategic approach to creating and maintaining a safe work environment
• You possess superior written & verbal communication skills
• You will be a strong team player with a high regard for your personal safety and the safety of your teammates

• You will be someone who demonstrates self-leadership, a positive attitude, and an unwavering commitment to working proactively and effectively
