Description:
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
High school diploma (or GED equivalent) required.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Three (3) years of experience with accreditation and regulatory agency requirements of hospitals. Experience in developing, implementing, managing, and monitoring a healthcare Safety and Physical Environment Program.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree in Business, Healthcare or related field preferred. Technical or college courses preferred. Basic computer skills with current operating systems and familiarity with informational systems that support PE/EOC functions preferred.
Responsibilities:
Implement and oversee management and maintenance of all aspects of the hospitals Safety and Physical Environment (PE) / Environment of Care (EOC) to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies (NFPA, DOT, EPA), and other appropriate standards and regulations according to program design. Ensure that the physical environment is a safe, efficient workplace in compliance with all Federal, State, and local ordinances to include maintaining all required documentation for inspections.
