Description:
OUR WELL-ESTABLISHED AND GROWING CONSULTANCY HAS AN OPPORTUNITY FOR AN EXPERIENCED ENVIRONMENTAL PROFESSIONAL TO JOIN OUR ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT AND MANAGEMENT (EAM) TEAM.
Our rapidly growing workload requires the expansion of our personnel in this space.
The EAM team works across environmental impact assessment (EIA), environmental approvals, environmental compliance and all aspects of environmental management, including conservation.
A remuneration package commensurate with experience level applies to this role.
Responsibilities:
THE ROLE:
- Working with clients on a variety of projects to undertake environmental assessments
- Preparing environmental approvals documentation, including EIA, referral documentation, offset strategies and environmental management plans
- Prepare management plans, strategies and related documents for environmental compliance, conservation and biodiversity protection purposes
- Scoping and managing environmental studies and approvals programs
- Supporting the Team Leader in the management and co-ordination of projects
- Supporting client relationship management
- Assisting in the development of tenders, proposals and quotes
- Collaborate with technical specialists such as our ecology team to provide a holistic approach to environmental assessments
TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL BE ABLE TO DEMONSTRATE:
- Bachelor degree (minimum) in environmental science, environmental management, conservation or equivalent
- at least 2 years’ experience in environmental assessment and management
- demonstrated experience working within WA EPA, DWER, DEMIRS and/or Commonwealth DCCEEW frameworks
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
