Description:
Overview:
Element has an opportunity for an Environmental Engineer whose prime responsibility is to project manage environmental services. In this role you will be a part of the Business development and Operation teams to achieve profitable growth and adequate technical resourcing.
This position will be based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia
Responsibilities:
- Provide onsite project leadership and testing execution while ensuring development and training of junior staff
- Technical report preparation and authorisation
- Plan and deliver services to meet the local and regional business plan objectives
- Maintain Health and Safety and Quality standards within UKAS accredited 17025 quality management systems
Skills / Qualifications:
- Educated in Environmental Science
- Minimum 5 years emission testing experience (stack testing, ambient air quality monitoring)
- MCERT / QSTI qualification is preferred
- CEMS RATA - Continuous Emissions Monitoring System / Relative Accuracy Test Audit experience preferred
- Proven technical experience
- Ideally educated to degree level in an engineering or science based subject
- Physically fit and able to withstand the challenging working conditions presented by the climbing of stacks
- Strong and determined quality focus with indefatigable determination to get the job done under the most challenging conditions
- Self-motivated team player with excellent organizational and communication skills
