- Candidates with education in science (chemistry/biology) or technology, preferably with a master’s degree or higher, although relevant experience can compensate.
- Operative experience from onshore plants and/or competence in environmental management, which will be considered an advantage.
- A strong interest in and dedication to sustainability and Equinor’s strategy.
- Structured, solution-oriented individuals with excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities:
- Supporting, advising, and challenging the Kårstø organization within environmental management.
- Staying up to date on environmental regulations, requirements, and applicable standards relevant to Kårstø.
- Supporting plant management in environmental permit follow-up.
- Preparing authority applications and other documentation, including reporting to the authorities.
- Staying up to date on operational conditions and contributing to better environmental efficiency and reaching ambitious targets.
- Supporting and advising plant management in climate and environmental risk evaluations, and following up on risk as part of integrated risk management.
- Participating in environmental improvement projects
