THE OPPORTUNITY
The S2 Partnership is looking to expand its expert team of professional consultants and therefore, we are seeking an experienced home-based Health, Safety & Environmental Consultant to join our expanding and successful consultancy team. The focus of this role is to provide health, safety and environmental consultancy services to our clients in the commercial property sector.
Part of the week will be site-based and part at home working on reports and assisting clients; diaries are pre-planned in advance to support and assist work life balance. There will be a requirement to travel to our sites with this role, so you will need to have a full driving licence and access to your own vehicle for travel to sites.

COMPETENCIES AND EXPERIENCE
You will have:
- Knowledge of safety and environmental legislation in the UK relating to the built environment and the management of property
- Qualified to degree level, or equivalent, in an appropriate environmental discipline
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience within the environmental field
- Proven technical ability
- Good report writing, IT and communication skills
- Experience in carrying out or preparing for ISO 14001 Audits
Desirable experience/memberships
- Sustainability Assessments
- Flood Risk Assessments
- Pollution Incident Response Plans
- Professional membership with a recognised environmental body such as IEMA or a safety body such as IOSH
- Fire risk assessment
