A BIT ABOUT THE ROLE

The position is a key role in assisting our Environmental Health Unit in the identification and control of health risks across a broad region, to meet regulations and legislation.
The position works with the Environmental Health Unit Team and is pivotal in ongoing environmental inspections, management, recommendations, programs and education required by Council to meet compliance, and provide quality living, working and wellbeing standards throughout Wyndham City.
Ideally, we are seeking someone to work part time 2-3 days per week during business hours.

• Thorough inspection of food and beauty premises
• Professional reporting in line with the Food, Tobacco, Public Health & Wellbeing Act
• Education to premises on food safety requirements
