What You’ll Be Doing
- Assist with environmental monitoring and data collection.
- Support the implementation of sustainability initiatives.
- Conduct fieldwork and site assessments.
- Collaborate with the environmental team on various projects.
- Prepare reports and documentation for regulatory compliance.
What Are We Looking For
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
- Effective communication and organizational skills.
- 3rd or 4th year Bachelor of Science or Engineering in fields such as Earth and Environmental Science, Environmental and Civil Engineering.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools.
Conditions of Employment
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination and background check.
- Must have driver’s license and personal vehicle and ability to travel across Central, SW BC, and Vancouver Island.
Work Environment
- Role operates primarily in a professional office environment but requires conducting business in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
