What You’ll Be Doing

  • Assist with environmental monitoring and data collection.
  • Support the implementation of sustainability initiatives.
  • Conduct fieldwork and site assessments.
  • Collaborate with the environmental team on various projects.
  • Prepare reports and documentation for regulatory compliance.

What Are We Looking For

  • Strong analytical and research skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
  • Effective communication and organizational skills.
  • 3rd or 4th year Bachelor of Science or Engineering in fields such as Earth and Environmental Science, Environmental and Civil Engineering.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools.

Conditions of Employment

  • Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination and background check.
  • Must have driver’s license and personal vehicle and ability to travel across Central, SW BC, and Vancouver Island.

Work Environment

  • Role operates primarily in a professional office environment but requires conducting business in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
