Description:
ABOUT YOU:
- Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Environmental Science. Additional or specialized certifications (e.g., Certified Environmental Professional (CEP), LEED accreditation) can be advantageous.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of work experience in environmental consulting or a related field is often required
- Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of environmental regulations, standards, and best practices. Familiarity with environmental assessment methodologies, sustainability practices, and risk management.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess environmental data and recommend solutions. Excellent communication skills for preparing reports, presenting findings, and interacting with clients and stakeholders. Project management skills to oversee and coordinate environmental projects effectively.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in using reporting software and tools. Ability to interpret scientific data and environmental impact reports.
- Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to work with diverse teams and stakeholders. Adaptability and critical thinking to address complex and evolving environmental issues.

Responsibilities:
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that clients adhere to environmental laws and regulations. Prepare and submit environmental reports and documentation to regulatory agencies.
- Environmental Audits and Assessments: Conduct environmental audits and impact assessments to identify potential risks and liabilities. Evaluate the environmental impact of various projects or processes and recommend improvements.
- Sustainability Planning: Develop and implement sustainability strategies and practices to help clients reduce their environmental footprint. Advise on resource management, waste reduction, and energy efficiency.
- Risk Management: Identify and assess environmental risks associated with client operations or projects. Provide strategies to mitigate identified risks and ensure long-term environmental sustainability.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze environmental data and trends to inform decision-making and strategy development.Prepare comprehensive reports detailing findings, recommendations, and action plans.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate with stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, community groups, and company leadership, to address environmental concerns and ensure transparency.
- Training and Education: Conduct training sessions and workshops for clients on environmental best practices, compliance requirements, and sustainability initiatives.
- Project Management: Manage projects related to environmental compliance, remediation, or sustainability, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
