Description:
EDAC, part of the McBreen Group, seeks an Environmental Officer to oversee the compliance of the Breffni Organics Waste Facility. The role ensures that the facility meets the highest standards of environmental, health, and safety compliance. This role could extend to third party sites also.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
In-depth knowledge of a broad range of environmental issues, fundamental for preparing high-quality environmental reports.
Experience with environmental management systems, audits, and assessments.
Familiarity with regulatory compliance and environmental legislation.
Strong communication and liaison skills for interacting with regulatory bodies and stakeholders.
Ability to manage and mentor junior staff and work collaboratively with clients and colleagues.
