Job Description

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR FROM YOU?

We are looking for an individual who is eager to join a collaborative team of environmental professionals to support project delivery and excellence in client service.

  • Tertiary qualifications in Town/Urban/Environmental Planning
  • 3+ years of relevant, development approval and planning experience
  • Working knowledge of Queensland and Commonwealth environmental and planning legislation
  • Adaptability and interest to work across multiple sectors and a range of clients
  • Consulting practice and/or experience supporting work-winning, such as fee proposals

Responsibilities:

WHAT WILL A DAY IN THIS ROLE LOOK LIKE:

  • You will join a team supporting environmental approvals, strategy, and management across the broad sectors AECOM delivers for including, energy and renewables, water, ground and aviation transport and advisory.
  • Develop your existing planning and project management skills whilst working closely with a multidisciplinary team of scientists, engineers, and technical specialists, as well as clients and contractors.
  • At AECOM you will be actively involved in a network of impact assessment and permitting professionals across QLD and Australia, enabling you to grow your technical capabilities and leverage relationships in other regions – including globally.
  • You will use your communication skills to build and manage positive relationships with peers, clients, and stakeholders, both internal and external to the organisation to support the growth of our business.
