    This role will see you working within our Site Assessment and Remediation (SAR) group. Our SAR team are highly regarded for their expertise; have a strong pipeline of work and enjoy a satisfying and flexible work environment.

ABOUT YOU

We’re looking for team player who enjoys a challenge, wants to learn and expand their experience, and ultimately find the best solution for every client.

Qualities and credentials, we’d love to see:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, Geology, or a related discipline
  • Must be mobile to work along the East Coast of Australia
  • 2+ years’ experience in contaminated site assessment and/or remediation activities, including soil, groundwater and soil vapour sampling, Environmental Audit support, and technical reporting
  • Experience and/or interest in our key markets of property and transport infrastructure
  • Project and client management or experience working on a portfolio of sites
  • Knowledge of guidelines and standards related to the investigation and management of contaminated land at State and Federal level
  • Professional writing skills to produce technical reports and successful proposals

Responsibilities:

Day to day here’s what you’ll be focused on:

  • Designing field investigations including soil or groundwater sampling and soil vapour assessment
  • Coordinate projects, including budget, scope, time, stakeholder communication and client relationships
  • Preparing contaminated site reports
  • Oversee contractors and take responsibility for safe and quality field programs
  • Directing and guiding site remediation activities
  • Supporting our EPA appointed Environmental Auditors across industry sectors.
  • Interacting with regulatory authorities
  • Developing comprehensive and competitive proposals.
