Refresco UK is part of the Refresco Group a multi-national independent soft drinks manufacturer with 78 manufacturing sites across Europe, North America, and Australia in 15 countries.
In the UK we have 6 sites, Bridgwater being the biggest - 158,700m2 - factory including warehouse. We work with all the large UK supermarkets plus many well-known branded drinks producers.
Responsibilities:
The Environmental Specialist will provide professional support and advice to the Site Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Manager, sites Senior Team and other relevant functions to ensure a common and consistent approach to all environmental & sustainability matters.
- Ensure ISO14001, IPPC, and EA permit compliance through operations.
- Deliver work tasks within specified time, cost, and quality standards.
- Coach, mentor, and support teams on environmental responsibilities.
- Serve as a reference point for teams on environmental incident investigations.
- Conduct planned inspections to meet environmental standards.
- Assist HSE Manager in maintaining legal registers and providing advice.
- Manage aspects and impacts register.
- Maintain site protection monitoring plan and address sub-standard conditions.
- Prepare, review, and update environmental investigation reports.
- Monitor progress of environmental improvement programs.
