Description:

SALARY: UP TO 55K DEPENDANT ON EXPERIENCE.

We’re looking for an Environmental Sustainability Manager to join our ESG team based in London.
In this exciting role, you will be overseeing the programme of work to deliver on HCA’s environmental sustainability goals across our UK hospital network. This will include setting the corporate expectations and working with teams across sites to deliver.
You will be the central point to coordinate and promote best practice and support all facilities and stakeholders in the delivery of their own sustainability obligations as part of their own operational roles, such as waste, energy and water management, financial disclosures, environmental legal compliance, clinical care delivery, etc. You will also deputise for the Head of Environmental Sustainability when required.
This role will be crucial for the delivery of our public net zero goals. As HCA UK operates in a matrix structure, you will work across multiple teams and leverage your excellent stakeholder management and systems change skills to drive change. You will be working with teams across the organisation to embed sustainability into systems, processes, tools, governance, and internal reporting.
Above all else, we’re committed to the care and improvement of human life. It’s this guiding vision that influences everything we do at HCA UK. From the CEO to the colleagues on the floor we all have a part to play in delivering exceptional care to our patients. Other’s may think this is just a role in our ESG team, but to us, you’ll be part of a wider team with a unique sense of purpose, one that helps improve lives on a daily basis.
