Our Work Services Unit provides a range of key services such as waste and refuse collection, street sanitation and recycling services. We’re a highly visible front line service that provides an invaluable benefit to all the residents of our Borough.

As our Environment & Waste Services Contract Officer you’ll be responsible for the supervision of operational staff and to provide clear, consistent and quality support to enable efficient delivery of the Council’s high-profile customer focussed frontline cleansing service contracts.
You will have supervisory responsibility for the manual operatives employed on the Council’s environmental cleansing contracts , deploying resources to ensure that the Works Services Unit operates efficiently and effectively to high standards of customer care.
