Following a restructure in our Emergency Operations Centre’s (EOC), we are currently looking for a Project Implementation and Oversight Lead.
Working as a key member of the EOC Management team supporting the EOC Senior Management Team (SMT) you will support the Planning Development and improvement manager and other EOC leaders to support the strategic, systematic and cohesive approach to performance improvement through the implementation of service delivery changes within the EOC.
You will lead on small to medium scale projects and identified through staff led ideas and your own analysis of emerging trends of changes to the operational landscape. Using your expertise, you will have autonomy to achieve delivery of change in an informed and consistent way ensuring the notion of change is central to the EOC. You will have a high level of discretion and autonomy to manage your allocated workload, seeking guidance from senior colleagues as required.
The Project Implementation and Oversight Lead will support service leads to analyse performance against KPI’s and identify areas for improvement, or further development which builds on existing good practice. The post holder will have responsibility to work collaboratively with service leads relying on their improvement skills support development and delivery of improvement plans for sustainable delivery of KPI’s.
The postholder will be the focal point for improvement within the EOC and will drive improvement initiatives. They will work alongside the EOC team to ensure that improvement work is planned effectively, and that delivery of the work is measured and sustainable. They will have discretion in their approach to this work and autonomy to complete their workload in the way which they feel best achieves the desired outcomes.
Effective engagement is key to being successful within the role. The post holder will need to build strong links with EOC staff, operational managers, clinical and non-clinical staff, which will be achieved through promoting a culture of transparency and continuous improvement.
